Job costing for the insulation contractor. This includes a thorough
discussion of foam yield calculations, job cost and profit estimates, and
comparison of cost advantages of various foam systems. Also included is
a brief discussion of an alternative compensation system for your field

Spray gun training, including repair and maintenance. This class also
covers general strategies for avoiding crossovers, and discusses the impact
of moisture contents, heat and pressure on gun performance. Also
included is a discussion of how to select the right gun, mixing
chambers, specialty spray pattern tips and other accessories. Depending
on the students' interest, emphasis will be on selected guns. Approximate
length: 3 hours |

Proportioner training. Includes maintenance and general
trouble-shooting. This class also features a general overview of the
different types of proportioners, as well as a guide for selecting the
right machine for the right application. Approx. length: 4 hours, but may

Introduction to becoming a successful Insulation Foam Mechanic. This
class covers various spray techniques including studs, open walls, and
injection. We discuss the preferred application methods for different types of foam. Also covered is a general introduction to
material safety (including handling precautions), respiratory
protection, and property protection (over spray). Approximate length: 4
hours.
